The 2004 Meritage has one a prestigious "Best of Class" designation at the 2007 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. The gold-medal winning Hedin Merlot imparts its elegance to this winemaker's blend of Cabernet Sauvingon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The palate on this wine is exceptionally rich and only promises to improve with age. Enjoy for many years to come.

Our 2003 Sonoma County Meritage is rounding into form as earth notes appear to compliment ripe fruit and firm tannins. A silver medal winner in 2006, we are expecting continued finesse from this wine as it ages in the bottle. Expect this wine to age at least 8-10 years.

The 2001 Meritage won double gold and gold medals for Sunce Winery. It is now even more drinkable than when in competition, and can be expected to age up to 25 years. Will approach its peak in 2010 and be enjoyable for many years thereafter.

We are sold out of inventory for this double gold winning Meritage, the first in a line of three successive double gold winning Meritages from the Walt Strycker's Vineyard in the Clear Lake region. Notable for its firm tannins and blackberry fruit, this Meritage can be expected to age through at least 2012.

The 1999 Meritage began our long string of gold and double gold medal winning blended wines from winemaker Frane Franicevic, winning gold at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and Indy International Wine Competition.
