A slightly reduced crop from the first vintage and a long growing season resulted in intense fruit with a dry, elegant finish.  As in previous vintages, the Zora's Estate Pinot shows as a "terroir" wine, with full body and an earthy palate.  Expect to age at least 10 years.

An extended carbonic maceration has given this Pinot Noir an exceptionally soft, supple finish.  A classic Russian River Pinot with an abundance of earth and fruit.  Already an enjoyable pour, this wine will last at least through 2010.

A new release, we expect great things from the 2004 Rodella Pinot Noir, which already approaches the elegance and quality of the stellar, double gold medal winning 2002 vintage.  A fine harvest and lengthy aging in French oak contribute a rich mouthfeel and soft tannins.  Promises to be an outstanding exemplar of Russian River Pinot.

We are enormously pleased with this first vintage of our own estate vineyard Pinot Noir.  Our Dijon clones have harvested an earthy palate from the Russian River terroir, lending complexity and depth to the fruit.  Young and ripe now, this wine should age up to 2010 and beyond.

The 2003 vintage is now rounding into form as tannins soften and the finish lengthens.  The cherry and clove palatal notes of the previous Rodella vintage are especially prominent with this wine.  Excellent now, should age through 2010.
