We expect great things from the St. Olof's Barbera after the double gold in the previous vintage.  As this wine ages in the bottle, tannins are softening as rich Barbera fruit moves forward on the palate.  At its peak by 2007, this wine will age until at least 2012.

After the success (and rapid sellout) of our 2002 vintage, we have expanded production of Les Trois Amis to 247 cases.  A Super Tuscan-style blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.  Surprisingly approachable now for a young wine where one might expect thick tannins.  Will age through at least 2012.

We have set a two bottle limit on this classic Italian-style blend of 50% Nebbiolo, 50% Barbera, which were pressed together.  The Barbera and Nebbiolo were co-pressed and aged together in French oak for 12 months.  Already a marvelous creation, this wine will only improve with age as the tannins of the Nebbiolo smooth out.  Drink now through 2012.

Pre-released at Winter Wineland in January 2007.  Rich fruit, balanced acidity and tannins make this a promising young wine that will only improve with time in the bottle.  Expect this wine to age at least six to eight years.
